EUROPEAN NIGHT OF RESEARCHERS - UNITO participated to the European Night of Reseaerchers in Torino (Italy) form September24th to 25th,2021. The Italian team enjoyed explaining the content of the project to an audience of both adults and children.

FESTIVAL DELLA SCIENZA - UNITO presented VEG-ADAPT at the Italian National Festival of Science in Genova(Italy) from Ocotber 11h to 23th 2021. An infographic titled "TOO HOT TO EAT" was created using augmented reality illustrating the aims of VEG-ADAPT in the contest of biodiversity and climate chamge in the Mediterranean area and the consequences on agriculture.The infographic wss posted at bus stops in the city center for about 15 days allowing citizens to be informed about the project focus while walking in the city.

AGROSFERA - INIA participated to the program "Agrosfera" broadcasted in the national Spanish TV also accessible online on-demand TV at this link. Dr Joaquin Medina explained the main objectives of the project VEG-ADAPT and its relevance in promoting sustainability of Mediterranean vegetable crops.

AGRICULTURA DEL SEGLE XXI EN UN ESCENARIO DE CANVI GLOBAL - UIB participated at the INAGEA institute to a meeting specially directed to farmers, agro-companies, students, and anyone linked to agro-environmental activities in the Balearic Islands

It took place in Palma, on 17th December 2021, with assistance of about 80 persons (public) of which 50% female, and with about 20 students. Policy makers and managers from Balearic Islands Government, from UIB, and from INAGEA presented the event and participated in some of the debates. Prof Miquel Conesa gave a presentation about VEG-ADAPT project contents and was interviewd by a local TV.

TOMATOWORLD - UNITO participated on 17 February 2022 to the TomatoWorld professional fair in Piacenza (Italy), an annual event targeted to farmers, agro-companies, students. Francesco Gresta at the VEG-ADAPT stand provided informations about the aims and impacts of the project.Interested visitors included farmers, advisors, and students.

VEG-ADAPT COURSE IN PHOTOSYNTHESIS MEASUREMENTS - The "Basic course in photosynthesis measurements: theory and practice of gas exchange and chlorophyll fluorescence in plants" has beeen organized by UIB and was held at University of Balearic Islands in Palma de Mayorca fom March 28th to April 1st, 2022. The course included seminars from seven specialists in the field, and ointensive, hands-on practicing with photosynthesis analys platforms on Mediterranean plants exposed to stress. 15 young scientists from three Mediterranean countries attended the workshop

CONFERENCE IN FILIATRA - On Friday 8th July, 2022, within the framework of T6.2: Demonstration to farmers and stakeholders Prof. Dimitrios Savvas and his research team of the Agricultural University of Athens organized in Filiatra (southwestern Peloponnese, GR), in collaboration with the local Directorate of Agricultural Economy and Industry, a conference entitled "Impacts of climate change on greenhouse crops: New precision technologies to optimize fertilization and enhance crop resilience under stress conditions". The conference was a great success, with an audience of over 100 participants, including greenhouse growers, agronomists, other scientists and professionals involved in the greenhouse production and supply chain, and representatives of the Agricultural Research Organization "Demeter".

TERRAMADRE - The VEG-ADAPT project was preented by UNITO at TERRAMADRE - Salone del Gusto 2022. on 24 September 2022. Terra Madre is a project conceived by Slow Food to give small-scale producers voice and visibility,. Salone del Gusto is an international exhibition that takes places every two years in Turin, bringing together food producers and artisans from across the world. with an average attendance of 250000. PRESENTATION OF VEG-ADAPT at the LIFE ADA project Workshop - The Networking Workshop was organized on 5 December 2022 by the LIFE project ADaptation in Agriculture (ADA). The Workshop featured 14 invited contribiutiosn form Research projects and Operational groups on themes linked to stress adaptation in agriculture. Prof. Andrea Schubert presented the vision and the first results of VEG-ADAPT, underlining its potential impact on mediterranean farming systems (this link to the presentation, min 51.30 to 1.02.30)

VEG-ADAPT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF URBINO - Prof. Andrea Schubert (UNITO) presented on 14 December 2022 recent results on the impact and potential of strigolactones at the Bachelor and Master students of the University of Urbino (IT) presenting the VEG-ADAPT prpoject and the roles of this research in the project
